Baskin Logic Body. Education only. United States only. We never sell data.
1. Who we are
This site is Baskin Logic Body, a working-body school. It is education only. It is for the United States. English only.
Baskin Logic Body is run by Joshua Baskin. If that changes, this notice will be updated to say who runs it.
2. What we collect
Reading the lessons and using the tools and plans: nothing. You don’t need to give a name, email or phone number to use them.
We do not collect phone numbers. The two consent boxes on Join start un-ticked, and ticking them sends nothing. Checkout is not open yet, so no payment details are taken.
The only thing we collect is described in section 2a: your first name and email address, and only if you choose to sign up for email.
2a. Email sign-up
What we collect. If you sign up on the home page, the 7-Day Rebuild Plan page or the “Email me my plan” step of the meal or workout plan builder, we collect your first name and email address. We only send them after you tick the consent box, which starts un-ticked. We do not send your plan, your quiz answers, your calculator numbers or any health information. Those stay on your device.
Why. To send the emails you asked for: a link back to your plan where you used the plan builder, and short weekly check-ins from Baskin Logic Body. We don’t sell, rent or share your email address for anyone else’s marketing.
Who processes it. Our email provider, Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., United States), stores the list and sends the emails for us under its privacy statement. When you sign up, Mailchimp also records the date and time and the network (IP) address you signed up from. It may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
How to unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you’ll stop getting emails from us.
How to delete your data. Reply to any of our emails and ask us to delete your data. We will permanently delete your name and email address from our Mailchimp list and confirm that we have done it. If you only unsubscribe, Mailchimp keeps your address marked “unsubscribed” so you aren’t added again by mistake.
How long we keep it. While you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, until you ask us to delete it.
3. What may be stored on your device
Your browser may keep copies of the site’s static files (pages, the mark, styles) so the school opens faster and works offline. Those files stay on your device. They do not identify you.
The free tools, quiz, lesson checkmarks and 7-day plan save your inputs and progress in your browser’s local storage on your device only, so you don’t have to retype them. Nothing is sent to us. You can clear it any time by clearing site data in your browser.
We do not run a tracking pixel on this site. We do not use analytics cookies. We do not sell or rent data. We never sell data.
4. United States only
This school is for people in the United States. Join is offered in the United States only. The site is in English only.
5. When checkout opens
Checkout and member sign-in are not open yet. Before they open, this notice will be updated to say what they collect, why, and how to cancel. Until then, the email sign-up in section 2a is the only thing we collect.
